Day 1: Arrival and Welcome Dinner

·       Arrival in Banjul: Upon landing at Cagliari Airport, you'll be greeted by an Indigo Adventures representative and transferred to your accommodation. (Receive a brief orientation on Sardinia culture, local customs, and the upcoming itinerary.)

Evening/Night:

·       Dinner: Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel or a local restaurant, savouring traditional Sardinian specialities such as Seadas, Pardulas and Porceddu.

Day 2: Gastronomic Delights of the Parteolla Subregion

Morning:

·       Breakfast: Early breakfast, then depart for the Cheese farm and Winery tour.

·       Cheese Farm & Argiolas Winery: Sardinia boasts the highest number of sheep farms in Italy, and is famous for its exceptional sheep-milk cheeses. You will delve into one of the most significant productive realities in Sardinia, visiting the spaces dedicated to cheese manufacturing and ageing. The tour will culminate in a tasting session featuring various cheeses paired with a glass of wine.

Afternoon:

·       Lunch: Enjoy a light lunch at a local restaurant.

·       Sella del Diavolo: Proceed to Sella del Diavolo for a short hike and take in the amazing views, including the Poetto beach.

Evening:

·       Leisure Time: Return to the hotel and unwind before dinner.

·       Dinner: Enjoy dinner back at the hotel or at a local restaurant offering Sardinian cuisine.

Day 3: Cultural & Historical Tour

Morning:

·       Breakfast: Early breakfast at the hotel.

·       San Benedetto Market: Visit San Benedetto market, which is the key point for the trade of all types of fresh food in the city of Cagliari.

·       Historical Exploration: Visit the captivating Sounding Stone Museum in the village of San Sperate.

Afternoon:

·       Lunch at a Local Restaurant: Enjoy lunch at a local agriturismo.

·       Su Nuraxi: Explore one of Sardinia's most iconic historic sites, the remarkable Nuragic complex of Su Nuraxi, a Bronze Age settlement dating back to the 15th century BC and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1997.

Evening/Night:

·       Dinner: Return to Cagliari and enjoy a relaxing evening and dinner at the hotel or a local restaurant.

Day 4: City Exploration and Departure

Morning:

·       Breakfast: Early breakfast at the hotel.

·       Castello Quarter: Enjoy a walking tour through the Castello quarter, the main historic district of Cagliari. (For a tour visit during Easter, you will celebrate it by witnessing 'S'Incontru - the traditional Encounter', two separate processions carrying the statue of the Risen Christ and the Virgin Mary.

Afternoon:

·       Lunch at a Local Restaurant: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and continue your exploration to the Archaeological Museum of Cagliari.

·       Departure: Transfer to Cagliari Airport for your departure.
